While there are a couple of server (/etc/sshd_config) parameters for 
keepalives, I doubt they would force an idle timeout (notwithstanding a lot of 
people claiming that they will).  There is a client (/etc/ssh_config) side 
parameter ConnectTimeout, but I think that's to keep from having to wait a full 
two minutes on a connection to an unresponsive host, not an inactivity timeout.

In bash or I think ksh, the TMOUT environment variable can cause the shell to 
exit after the specified number of seconds of inactivity.
