It may well have been that issue. As I said, I had tried to clean and
rebuild poppler-qt4-mac explicitly after the initial failure, and the
main.log I sent was from that attempt.
Try "sudo port clean poppler-qt4-mac", then try rebuilding poppler-qt4-mac
again,
e.g. with "sudo port -n upgrade --force poppler-qt4-mac".
That did the trick! It must have been the additional options you gave
that worked the magic. Thanks a lot!
