With cantor @4.14.3_1 With installed, I can open
/Applications/Macports/KDE4/cantor.app. Its main window says, “No Backend
Found” but that I could try changing the settings in the config dialog.

Does that refer to Preferences? In any case, I got a Configure - Cantor
window, where several backends are listed. I want to use Sage as the backend.
What, specifically, is the path to enter — /Applications/SageMath-7.3.app ?
/Applications/SageMath-7.3.app/sage ?
/Applications/SageMath-7.3.app/Contents/Resources ?
/Applications/SageMath-7.3.app/Contents/Resources/sage ?

And what script, if any, from within the Sage app should be chosen to autorun?

I looked at https://wiki.sagemath.org/Cantor#Using_Sage_with_Cantor
<https://wiki.sagemath.org/Cantor#Using_Sage_with_Cantor> and
https://edu.kde.org/cantor/ <https://edu.kde.org/cantor/> but found nothing
specifically helpful there.
