If this is going to ever work again, somebody needs to make the java
compiler in the latest gcc work again.
and this (by implication) is unlikely to happen?
if somebody on this list cares: a web-search just yielded a reference to
`qpdf` providing features similar to `pdftk`. `qpdf` is in macports and
installs just fine...
