After enjoying quite a few gnome apps over the past year, I'm still not sure if there is a way to bring up the whole gnome desktop, with clickable icons for applications, etc.
I run them from the command line, but I suspect I'm missing something to make the experience work as it does on Linux. When I have tried to run something like gnome-session, which seems like it should bring up a desktop perhaps, I just get a screenful of error messages. Am I missing the trick? Ken
