it looks indeed very similar :) Same error.. however for me it happens both for JPEG and TIFF images.
BMP does work :)The bug looks closed with the addition of patches? However I am at latest exiv2 and I do get the issue.
I have exiv2 @0.27_1 Should I reopen the bug? Riccardo
