interestingly, with our current super-backwards-compatible MacPorts’ infrastructure, octave builds through and runs on PowerPC Leopard. I admit I wasn’t really expecting that.
It has some kind of hangup when quitting, so everything is not 100% perfect, but still — that’s Octave. On PPC! Ken
