On doing a recent port reclaim of my old ports, this message appeared at the end:
Scanning binaries for linking errors Warning: Error parsing file /opt/local/lib/go/src/cmd/vendor/github.com/google/pprof/internal/binutils/testdata/malformed_macho: Premature end of data, possibly corrupt file ---> No broken files found. ---> No broken ports found. So, it found a premature end of file, but can’t tell if it is corrupted or not…so premature end of file does not seem to count as a corruption…? Is this intentional? Maybe because it is maintained by Google as part of the Go language, it is out of Macports juris diction and can’t tell what the developers intended with the file…? Well, I’m not touching it for the moment, hopefully it will be corrected on the next upgrade…but I want to know what the guys at Macports think about this...
