That's often the reason why binary packages are not available, but not
in this case.

And indeed the archives are present in
<https://packages.macports.org/OpenBLAS/>. The Portfile just prevents
them from being used.
my mistake, my memory was failing me here, I was sure I had seen the
builds flagged as not distributable in the build bots due to license
conflicts...
