You haven't posted the portion of the log that would allow us to see what went 
wrong.

Please file a bug report in Trac and attach there the full (compressed) 
main.log file, provided of course that there is not already a ticket covering 
this issue. I feel like there have already been tons of bugs filed about gcc 
issues on Apple Silicon and/or macOS Monterey.
