You can uninstall any ports you no longer need or want to have installed. If any installed ports still declare dependencies on them, MacPorts will notify you of this and prevent you from uninstalling them. As of January 2022, we would like ports to use python310 if possible. Not all ports have been updated to do so yet. If you find some that have not yet updated, you can file tickets or pull requests.
