Before downgrading libxml2 I would want confirmation from the developers that this is a bug and that they do not have some other fix that we can apply. Can you share the libxml2 bug report URL for this problem? If there isn't one already, can you file one? As far as I know, 2.13.0 is a stable version of libxml2. If you find information to the contrary please provide the URL.
