Dear all, How are you? I hope all is well with you. As some of you know a new version of Perl came out recently (v5.40.1). The latest version available via MacPorts is perl5.38 @5.38.2. I would like to contribute and help to provide a port for the recent version of Perl. I’m sure there is a maintainer of Perl port. I don’t want to create any interference or conflict, but would love to give a helping hand. I don’t have any experience developing port files, but I would be glad to learn. Can you please put me in touch with the current Perl port maintainer and point me to documentation and examples of how to develop fully functional port files.
