Hi all,

just to remember how amazing we are and a thanks to everybody.
Today I was able to complete an update on my MacBook 10.6 64bit (no OpenSSL issue, but sometimes more problematic). Some tweaks were needed forcing compiler versions, disabling ccache... most of the things I reported in bugs

I do have a limited overlay:

https://github.com/rmottola/macports-leopard

not much stuff and no local patches (yet) just older releases. I'm thinking of making the gtk3 version patched, since it is the last one that runs without IOSurface (or if somebody has patches for that, even better)

however we have gccs, clangs, subversion, git, tools libraries... so much stuff up to support GIMP Aqua (which works 90%... it does not display text, but loads images, shows displays... quite impressive nevertheless).

I miss an old version of MacVim and Emacs working in aqua... and meld. Then I'd be even happier.

Just wanted to share this moment! Especially after the big gcc14 upgrade and Tiger deprecation.
I hope wr can have 32bit and PPC follow soon :)
