Sorry for the delay, but I've been tied up with another system here (and
MacPorts is occasionally refusing email from me).
I use Time Machine (to a Time Capsule) for backups, but there are two
problems with that approach:
1) I can't restore outside my home directory
2) I can only restore the entire system.
Using "root" didn't work either (I couldn't see anything with TM, but I
could've sworn that I did that some years back).
How do I restore those files? Log in as "macports" perhaps?
