Hi;

  It looks like there is a file conflict between the glow port and the fish
port.

  If the glow port is installed first, the complaint is:

--->  Activating fish @4.1.0_0
Error: Failed to activate fish: The following ports have active files that
conflict with fish's:
glow @2.1.1_0
  /opt/local/share/fish/completions/glow.fish
Image error: Conflicting file(s) present. Please deactivate the conflicting
port(s) first, or use 'port -f activate fish' to force the activation.
    while executing
"throw registry::image-error $msg"
    ("foreach" body line 35)
    invoked from within
"foreach file $imagefiles {
                incr progress_step
                _progress update $progress_step $progress_total_steps
                se..."
    invoked from within
"registry::read {
            foreach file $imagefiles {
                incr progress_step
                _progress update $progress_step $progress_t..."
Error: See
/opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_macports_release_tarballs_ports_shells_fish/fish/main.log
for details.
Error: Couldn't activate fish 4.1.0_0: 1
Error: Follow https://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets if you believe
there is a bug.

Since I really can live without fish (the shell, not the food!) and glow
is nice to have, but not extremely important (I like reading markdown files
from the command line), fixing this is not a high priority for me, just an
FYI.

So fish prevents glow and glow prevents fish...sure could make some puns
there if I tried...

Thanks,
Ken Wolcott
