Hi All,

can someone give me a short review on the linker ld64 setting and configuration?

I have that on 10.6 32bit ArcticFox has stopped compiling, on 64bit it does. Both are relatively up-to-date and on both I use clang-6.0 MP which is the newest, at the moment, clang version which compiles without issues. A linker option is refused (which I do not put in even... somehow autoconfigured). -no_data_in_code_info

I checked and my two computers have different ld64 active. Which ones do you recommend on 10.6?

I believe in the dark ages I followed this guide:
https://trac.macports.org/wiki/LibcxxOnOlderSystems

but don't remember.

on 10.6 32bit I see active:

ld64 @3.6+ld64_127
ld64-127 @127-2_14+llvm34
ld64-274 @274.2_0+llvm34
ld64-latest @450.3_0+llvm34

on 10.6 64bit I see active only:

ld64 @3_6
ld64-latest @450.3_0+llvm34
