Although reading through the code I would think the method "class" would be bound to the C function "rb_obj_class", that clearly isn't the case. Can someone explain (briefly) how the mappings in object.c Init_Object() are used at runtime? This is all in relation to understanding the code around http://www.macruby.org/trac/ticket/1141.
