But, if you thought you could make more money by raising the price, why 
wouldn't you do that anyway? Irrespective of the development costs.

If I thought I could make more money by raising or lowering my prices I 
would do so. I wouldn't think about the sunk costs - I've never even 
bothered to work out what they are.
