Like some others on this list, I received a solicitation from them a week or two ago. I'd previously heard of them through Kagi or SWREG who wanted to offer it as a last-ditch enticement for abandoned carts. Since my main product has been in a major hiatus for some time (sales have tailed off significantly due to lack of recent development and promotion), I figured it would be a low-cost opportunity to try and garner a few residual sales, so I signed up last week. (My campaign is still "pending approval" after several days.) I have to agree that from a consumer perspective, the whole approach has a vaguely filthy flavour to it (what kind of person with a sensible concept of value would voluntarily subject themselves to advertisements?) but I'm interested to see what might transpire. By the time I get the next major release of my app out there, I'll probably make an effort to hide (or remove) the TrialPay affiliation so as not to cheapen the esteem of my software. -ben -- Ben Kennedy (chief magician) zygoat creative technical services http://www.zygoat.ca
