I'll just chime in here and say that while I haven't moved any domains over to
Google and regretted it, Google has burned me in the past and I think it's
worth considering that possibility before entrusting your business's email to
them.

I had a Google account I used exclusively for business a couple of years ago. I
had set up Analytics and Webmaster Tools on a couple of domains and was running
AdSense ads on a "content" domain (though it wasn't a blog). The ads made so
little that I never even crossed the payment threshold a single time.

One day, I found the account disabled. Multiple emails to Google were never
answered. I even asked a friend who works there to check into it, hoping that
an employee might help to elicit a response. Still nothing.

I read accounts from others who had similar things happen to them, and in
almost every case, Google sent an email explaining the problem. There was often
no way to fix it, but at least the person knew why they had been turned off.

So do consider: Google has turned people off in the past, with no reason given.
Maybe you'll get better treatment if you pay for Google Apps for Business, but
personally, I don't rely on Google for anything critical to my business.
