I also just found this on the globalization blog over at Sun.com. Has anybody had experience with using OmegaT and PoEdit to help translate or automate the process? Anyone using AppleGlot? http://sourceforge.net/projects/omegat/ http://sourceforge.net/projects/poedit/ There's also a lot of open source translations where the phrases we need have probably been translated already. What we need is a tool to automate the location and retrieval of translations (license permitting) based on our .strings files. I think there is already some kind of online project like this already, but I can't remember what it's called. I would be happy to pay for such a service, as it would probably cover 80-90% of my requirements, and the rest could be given to translation companies or hobbyists. Local distribution, support, sales is a different matter... and might justify a 30% cut. Cheers, Simon
