I found that unless you were purchasing top end machines the discount never 
added to more than $400 anyhow.  So if anything, this is cheaper than spending 
$500 (ADC membership) to save $300 (mid range discount).

And if one was purchasing high end machines, they probably weren't quibbling 
about $ anyhow  (though the discount was nice)
