For customer support, it's often true that a picture (screenshot) is worth 1000
words, especially when dealing non $myLanguage speakers.

For emails, I have a technique that I really like: I've set up the F1 key to
be a shortcut to "Copy picture of the selected area to the clipboard". [Set
this in System Preferences/Keyboard/Keyboard Shortcuts/Screen Shots"]

Once set, this allows me a really fast way to get screenshots into emails:
Go to the screen I want to show the user
  Hit F1
Click and drag the mouse to select the relevant picture
  Back to Mail.app
  Hit Paste

This works very well. (With one exception :certain Outlook and AOL mail clients
will only see the pasted screenshots if the email is set to Styled -- plain
text email + screenshots : the screenshots are lost).

I'd like to be able to use this technique in my forums -- however I've not
found any forum software that allows one to paste styled text + pictures into a
TextArea when creating a post.

This means that submitting a screenshot as part of a forum post is a lot
harder, e.g.
Go to the screen/dialog/setting in question
  Hit F1
  Click and drag the mouse
  Go to Preview.app
New File (creates image from clipboard)
  Save File
  Open FTP client
  Upload file to website
  Create new post in forums
add IMG tag (remembering the filename)
  etc.

Any ideas? I'd really love to have the "F1, copy, paste" technique work in
forum or blog posts.

p.s. I'm using Vanilla 1 forums.
