Hello! Has anyone of you guys ever tried to promote one of your apps through an affiliate program like Clickbank or or Commission Junction?
The idea is to give a certain percentage of the sale price to the affiliate if he refers a paying customer. The benefit for me as a developer is theoretically that I have less work with promoting/selling my apps and can spend more time on development. I myself have tried Google's Adwords once but its pay per click model is a fine opportunity to burn a lot of money. I'd prefer a pay per sale/lead model.
