It really depends on what your budget is, but as Steven pointed out, one 
site-per-app seems to be the trend these days. Having a centralized company 
site is good, but I think it's mostly useful if you offer other services (as 
Sofa does) or if you want to establish and build a company brand. Otherwise, 
branding and marketing each application separately works, it's just a bit more 
effort.

One thing you can do if you've got a limited budget is to create a one-page 
site, like the Fever web site:

http://feedafever.com/

It has everything a software site needs on one page, with jump links. That 
might be easier from a budget standpoint, but it really depends on who you hire 
to do your sites (or if you do them yourself).
