Fellows,
It turns out I have a customer commitment the week of WWDC (I guessed
wrong on what week it'd be this year) and so unfortunately I can't attend. I
have 1 ticket (from my ADC membership) that I'd like to sell. I'm not looking
to scalp it, just transfer it to another dev. who can use it and recoup face
value of what I paid for it (presumably $1595 of my ADC membership cost).
I'm looking for advice. Has anyone ever sold and transferred a WWDC
ticket before? Where did you find a reliable buyer (I assume that rules out
eBay and Craigslist)? It seems like a very ephemeral thing to sell (I don't
even have anything in my hands, like a "ticket" of course), so how did you
convince the buyer they weren't getting ripped off? How did you make the
transfer happen?
I put in an email request to developer support, but as of yet, haven't
heard back so I figure I'd check in here.
