IMNAL, I just google a lot.

If you fill out a Trade Name Application, that approval seems to be
the way to give sole proprietors a business alias.

>From my brief read on the internet, it looks similar to Texas' DBA
(Doing Business As) process for sole proprietors. When I lived in TX,
I was able to use my DBA to open a business bank account, etc. My
guess is Apple would accept it as well.

My other guess, same would *likely* be true for an approved Trade Name
Application.
