You can however choose a name in the app store, I trade as a Sole Trader who 
trades as "Nimble Works" (UK equiv of DBA) and during the setup phase of my app 
store account I could choose a name to show on the app store. This is a once 
only shot as you can't go back and change it later apparently. In the app store 
I appear as "Nimble Works" but all documentation and licenses are in my name.
