Did you create an individual or a company account?

When I created my iPhone developers account I created an
individual account, because it appeared that company accounts
were strictly for corporations. I created the individual account
using my company name, and there's even a "Company Name" field
in my account profile. From all appearances, it would appear
that I was going to do business with Apple as an individual,
using my "company" name--the essence of a sole proprietorship.

What you don't discover until you go to set up your iTunes
account, is that all of that is ignored. Your "Legal Name,"
which for an individual account is your personal name, is what
will appear in the iTunes store. Period, end of story, not exceptions.
