I highly concur with this statement, incudle engough decoumentation in your bundle to handle operating the application. PDF, HTML, etc are all ok for me. If you want to bring up a web page with file://url I don't see anything wrong with that. Just don't use the Apple Help! IMHO, it is has been broken ever since they stop making the window a normal window. i HATE (not quite strong enough word) having the window cover up everything I am trying to see when I need help.
I see no good reason for the Apple help window to behave as it does, I filed a bug on this when I was still at Apple and it still persists in being obnoxious. Don't get me started on the iTunes window, that is the topic all in itself.
