Hello, Would it be possible to have the file /sys/devices/platform/applesmc/keyboard_backlight readable and reporting the current value of the keyboard backlight?
My idea is to use it like backlight used to change the screen backlight: "keyboard_backlight +10" to increase the level "keyboard_backlight -10" to decrease the level "keyboard_backlight" to get the current value I can then map the F8, F9 and F10 keys to a very simple script. Is there a technical difficulty to add this in applesmc.patch?
