Hello, As suggested in [1] I recompiled a kernel without the sigmatel_audio.patch patch. I now have the sound on the speakers as usual and the sound _only_ in the head phones when one is connected.
It works for me on a MacBook Pro. It should also work on a MacBook according to the gentoo wiki page. I don't know it the patch is needed or harmful on a Mac Mini. But I guess it should also work better without the patch. So I propose to remove the sigmatel_audio.patch from trunk/kernel/mactel-patches-2.6.18/ Any objection?
