Hello, I tried the lastest patch for sigmantel on my macbook. I think config is uncomplete for the macbook configuration. I tested the differents configurations inside the patch_sigmatel.c file plus the default kernel config (with no patch). Here are some comments :
default kernel 2.6.19 config : sound is crap (it seems high level frequencys are squeezed), no master channel, PCM channel controls sound volume, front channel seems to control a kind of high level frequencys but only on the left side, front microphone does not work. Nicolas' working pins : sound is crap too (same reason), Master channel controls the front channel of the previous configuration, PCM channel controls sound volume, front channel controls sound volume too and front microphone does not work. => it seems PCM/front are in fact PCM/Master or Master/PCM Jason's working pins : sound is fine, master and pcm channels control the right parameters, front has no effect (probably normal on a macbook), but when plugging headphone, speakers sound's is not muted, and microphone does not work. old Bootcamp, proto.ini : idem Jason's working pins old Bootcamp, proto2.ini : idem Jason's working pins I'm ready to test any new pins configuration, whether you have ideas, just send me them.
