I didn't build a final 2.6.19 kernel, but AFAIK this patch isn't needed anymore. Linus had put a fix in an early 2.6.18-git but some ACPI commit broke the workaround. The breakage has been reported during 2.6.19 dev and should be fixed in a generic manner now.
