I notice that the ohci-1394 driver does not seem to work after the
2.6.15 kernel. It seems to be functional there, but appears to hang
the boot process with every kernel since then right up to 2.6.19-rc5.
I am trying this on a quad Mac on which I am presently running a
2.6.19-rc5 kernel without any other difficulty except that I have to use
the "irqpoll" kernel argument to function.
I was wondering if anyone noticed this on the other Intel Macs ?
