Hi there,

I have yet another question on GNU/Linux support for the MacBook (Core 2
Duo, that is, since I'm planning to get one).

I found a fairly well documented page entitled "Ubuntu Dapper on the
Apple Macbook" (http://desrt.mcmaster.ca/macbook.xhtml). It states that
a lot of MacBook issues were dealt with, with "fixes merged to Dapper".

It doesn't necessarily tell which programs were patched, or where these
patches are available. Since I want to use Debian on my laptop, I was
wondering if there was a similar effort in merging patches & fixes
Debian-side, or if one had to go Ubuntu for a while to get a properly
working MacBook.

Thanks in advance for feedback,
