Hello there,

i've installed kubuntu 6.10 on my macbook, and patched the kernel
with the patches from mactel.
since i've found out, that i have to setup an udev rule, the
touchpad works with xorg's synaptic driver.
I can now click by tabbing the pad, right-click by double-finger-
tabbing and scrolling. But the scrolling is different from osx.
In osx i can scroll by moving two fingers on the pad and on linux i
have to move one finger on the right side of the pad.
Because i'm switching often between the two os, this difference is a
little bit disturbing.
Anyway i think the scrolling like in osx is much cooler, but i can't
get this functionality to work with the synaptics driver on linux.
i've allready tried the options
   Option "VertTwoFingerScroll" "1"
   Option "HorizTwoFingerScroll" "1"
in my xorg.xonf. TwoFinger scrolling seems two work with that, but
its very slow and not very comfortably.
The other way to scroll with the finger on the right side is a lot
faster and smoother.
Maybe the options for two-finger scrolling have to combined with some
other to get it work perfectly?

Can anybody, who think he has a good config for his touchpad, post
the section of his xorg.conf?
Especially i am intrested in configs, which have two-finger scrolling
enabled!

Thanks,
Christopher Reitz
