Maybe it would help if you tell us what LAM is?
I found a "lam" source Debian package: LAM (Local Area Multicomputer)
is an open source implementation of the Message Passing Interface
(MPI) standard.

Also note that it is "Mac mini" and not "MiniMac" :-)
