Hi, my Machine is a MacPro with a 30" Cinema. The Macpro does have a ATI Radeon X1900 and is running MacOS X, Debian, Ubuntu, and when I get to it ... windows xp, too.
I have 2 disks in there, and software raid and lvm and crypt disks and
all that fancy stuff :-) For those who are interested I will publish a
documentation later ...
Well...
I got debian etch to run with a self compiled kernel 2.6.19.1
Ubuntu edgy works with the feisty kernel image 2.6.19
I just can't get the Cinema to work with it's native resolution of
2560x1600. Does anyone have a 30" Cinema and could provide me with a
working xorg.conf?
Everything is working fine at 1280x800 with my current xorg.conf
I think with
Option "ForceMonitors" "tmds2i"
xorg should have dual link dvi enabled, but the Cinema Display does not
show anything. But it's led does flash 3 times. anyone knows the meaning
of this led flashing code?
If needed I could also provider my current xorg.conf later ...
Sun is rising already ... so I need to get some sleep :)
