Hello!

I’ve been playing with LIRC lately thanks to the apple-ir.c patch, which I’m
really pleased about! However, being the owner of 3 macs I run into the
issue of controlling multiple machines with one zap of a remote.

In OS X its possible to pair a machine to respond to only one remote, has
anyone managed to modify the apple-ir.c driver to allow this for Linux?

I’d appreciate any advice/solutions, or pointers as I would really like to
pair one remote to my linux box, to stop it being controlled when I’m using
front row on another mac!

Any help, or even pointers on how this may be possible would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance

Martin
