Hi,

since 3 days I have a new MBP 15" with the 2Ghz C2D. I want to use it as
my primary laptop with Linux (only?) installed.

Could you please give comments on these issues:

* I've read, that a small OSX partition is recommended. How much space
needs a minimal OSX installation and how to I install it.

* Is there an easy way to try what features already work? It is ok for
my to experiment, but the core features should work. Important features for
me are:
- X.org
- Sound
- WLAN
- Power management (for a long running laptop)

* What works?

* What does not work?

* Can I use Parallels to boot my Linux partition out of OSX? (But I prefer
to run Linux natively).

* Where should I start? Are there any recommended ressources? I would
share my experiences with the community of course.

* My disitribution of choice is Debian. What is the correct
architecture I should use, AMD64, i386?

Regards, Kai
