Hello! I'm owning a MBP2 C2D and almost all of the time my FANs a running at about 2000 RPM - so mine is really quiet. PowerPlay does not work (maybe the new driver will?!), so this has not influence. I'm running a 2.6.19.1 kernel (with the mactel-patches) and ndiswrapper. I'm booting with rEFIt and have bootcamp installed. Battery time is a little over 2 hours. I attached a list of all my loaded modules, for reference...
