(II) ATI Proprietary Linux Driver Version Identifier:8.35.5

(II) fglrx(0): POWERplay version 3. 4 power states available:

MacBook Pro Core Duo (not 2)

Is powerplay the different available frequencies I see with "aticonfig
--list-powerstates"?

$ aticonfig --list-powerstates
    core/mem      [flags]
-----------------
  1: 128/135 MHz  [low voltage]
*    209/135 MHz  [low voltage]
  2: 311/297 MHz
  3: 419/450 MHz [performance mode, default state]

I installed the driver 8.35.5 but something must not be installed
correctly since I do not have DRI enabled. From /var/log/Xorg.0.log I
have:
(EE) AIGLX error: dlsym for __driCreateNewScreen_20050727 failed
(/usr/lib/dri/fglrx_dri.so: undefined symbol:
__driCreateNewScreen_20050727)
(EE) AIGLX: reverting to software rendering

I will look into this.

Bye
