hey every1 - an odd and unexpected problem - all of a sudden isight stopped working ... when loading i get this : Loading firmware for iSight... Firmware load init failed: Protocol error Loading firmware for iSight... Firmware load init failed: Protocol error
and in dmesg : Linux video capture interface: v2.00 usb 1-4: usbfs: USBDEVFS_CONTROL failed cmd isight-firmware rqt 64 rq 160 len 1 ret -71 usb 1-4: usbfs: USBDEVFS_CONTROL failed cmd isight-firmware rqt 64 rq 160 len 1 ret -71 usbcore: registered new interface driver uvcvideo USB Video Class driver (v0.1.0) the v4l stuff does get loades but then i dont get the /dev/v4l/video0 device ... the strange thing is that this worked perfectly fine until the ati upgrade ...
