hey there,
I got suspend2ram working on my macbook1,1 but occasionally it would
wake up with the backlight switched off. Also the resume only works if I
suspend with s2ram -f -p -m.

The backlight issue is annoying because none of the linux solutions to
adjust the backlight work if the macbook comes back without backlight.

hi David. i'm using kpowersave to suspend to RAM and disk. to disk works
flawlessly for me after configuring a few things in /etc/powersave/sleep .
suspending to RAM "works" every time, except the touchpad doesn't work after
resuming; i have to either run ``sudo modprobe -r appletouch usbhid && sudo
modprobe appletouch; sudo modprobe usbhid'', or restart X. this is on a 15"
MBP C2D running Debian Etch. i've never tried s2ram.
