Hi,guys,
I installed debian linux on my Macbook. I use refit for the boot loader
and lilo for linux. I just upgraded my Debian. Now when I reboot into linux,
it failed to boot up. Currently on linux the kernel I use is 2.6.20. I
guess if I can switch to the old kernel,it'll be OK. Is there a way to do
that? Or any suggestions? I dont want to reinstall linux.
Thanks a lot!

hi Qilong. i recommend booting into a live CD such as Ubuntu Live or
Knoppix, mounting the necessary Debian partition(s), and fiddling around
there. i haven't tried upgrading from Debian Etch to Lenny yet, so i'm not
sure what will solve the problem. maybe try reinstalling lilo, compiling and
installing a new kernel, remaking your initrd, running gptsync, etc. when
you fix your laptop, let us know what what you did.
