My experience: I've tried both and they work fine-ish as long as you use grub 0.97-r3 (or apply a patch to the previous version). I never needed to use gptsync to switch. I personally prefer grub since changing default kernel is a matter of editing a text file, but I guess it is mostly a matter of taste. However, by "fine-ish" above I mean that both of them suffer from the keyboard flakiness issue: ~4 times out of 5, the keyboard will not work to select kernel, so you WILL boot on the default kernel after the timeout. During testing this is rather annoying, but once everything is in place it is OK. IFAIK, the keyboard issue is C2D specific - I sure have had it on both my C2D boxes. Some claim it is the initial Apple bootup stuff that leaves it in a non-reliable state. Refit always works fine and once the USB modules are loaded it also seems pretty stable - on the odd occasion, but touchpad has gone strange (movement insists on a particular corner) but reloading the modules then helps. / Jonas -- Jonas Petersson | XMS Penvision | mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Box 3294, Västgötegatan 13, S-600 03 Norrköping | www.penvision.se Tel: +46 11 400 13 00 | Dir: +46 11 400 13 05 | Fax: +46 11 10 30 50 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
