Hi,

I've managed to get Arch Linux installed on my new Macbook Pro (Santa
Rosa), and I've managed to configure most things, however, there are
still a few niggles I have with it. For some reason I can't get
wireless to work. The madwifi driver detects my card (as does
ndiswrapper), but whenever I try to connect to my network, I get an
error, like so:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] genelisp]# iwconfig ath0 essid myssid key s:mykey
Error for wireless request "Set Encode" (8B2A) :
SET failed on device ath0 ; Invalid argument.

even after 'modprobe wlan_wep' (which is recommended on the madwifi
troubleshooting page).
I'm using version 0.9.3.1.99-1 of the driver.

Secondly, I can't get alsa to work. This isn't hugely important, but
it'd be nice if I could :-). I've run alsaconf, and my card is
detected just fine, and I can run alsamixer and the channels show -
but nothing comes out the speakers when I try to play a file. I'm
using version 1.0.14-4.

Thirdly, my keyboard is a bit wacky - most keys are alright, but there
are a few which are out of place. Now I could use dumpkeys and xev and
manually map them, but I would be very grateful if someone could just
lend me their configuration (I'm just looking for the standard mac
keyboard).

Here's some information about my system:

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you,
