My personal preference is that it is left the way it is, and the user should configure their system to have numlock on by default, but this is not the first complaint I have heard about this operation (especially since there are no arrows on the numberpad of these keyboards).
-- apple slim keyboard defaults to using a directional pad when it should default to a number pad https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/251219 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Mactel Support, which is the registrant for Mactel Support. Status in Mactel Support: New Status in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: when i type on the number pad of my apple slim keyboard no number appear. The number pad defaults to a directional pad until the "clear" button is pressed then it converts to a number pad. Since there are no arrows on the directional keys I think the number pad should be enabled by default. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~mactel-support Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~mactel-support More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
